2.3 App Activity and Usage Data

  • Screen time tracking and detox programme progress

  • Tool usage, feature interactions, and session data

2.4 Mentor and Coach Data

If you book, apply for, or engage in mentorship or coaching services:

  • Booking requests, scheduling preferences, and session history
  • In-app messages and communication with mentors/coaches
  • Mentor/coach application information (if applying to join)
  • Professional credentials, experience, and specialisations (mentors/coaches)
  • Ratings and reviews

2.5 Communication Data

  • Support messages and enquiries submitted via contact forms
  • Email communications with the Yoomento team
  • In-app messages and notifications

2.6 Payment and Subscription Data

Purchases and subscriptions on the Yoomento platform may be processed through Apple App Store (StoreKit), Google Play Billing, Stripe, or other payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive:

  • Transaction identifiers and confirmation references
  • Subscription status and tier information
  • Billing country or region (as provided by the payment provider)

Payment processing is governed by the terms of the relevant payment provider (Apple, Google, Stripe, etc.).

2.7 Device and Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information to operate and improve our Services:

  • Operating system and version (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, etc.)
  • App version and build number

2.10 Guest / No-Account Usage

Certain tools (such as assessments or the habit tracker) may be usable without creating an account. In those cases, data is processed locally in your browser and is not stored on our servers unless you are signed in.

AI features use information you provide — such as your goals, habits, assessment responses, and progress data — to generate relevant, personalised outputs.

Emergency Notice: Do not submit emergency, crisis, or highly sensitive personal information into AI features. If you are in danger, experiencing a mental health crisis, or need emergency help, please contact your local emergency services immediately (e.g. 999, 911, 112).

Where AI features are powered by third-party AI service providers, data submitted to those features may be processed by the relevant provider subject to their data processing terms. Data Sharing

Yoomento does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

  • Apple and Google: Information necessary for in-app purchases and subscription management is shared with Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their respective policies.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Yoomento, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent: We may share information in other ways with your explicit consent.

Data Retention

  • Inactive accounts: We may delete or anonymise data from accounts that have been inactive for an extended period, following reasonable advance notice.
  • Upon account deletion: Personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30–90 days) following a confirmed deletion request, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory compliance purposes.

Account and Data Deletion App Store Required

You have the right to delete your Yoomento account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Deletion

  • In-app (mobile): If you have a Yoomento mobile app account, you can initiate account deletion directly from your account settings or profile area within the app. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • By email: Send a deletion request to privacy@yoomento.com from the email address associated with your account.
  • Via the website: Contact us through yoomento.com/contact.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Your personal profile, account credentials, and activity data will be permanently deleted.
  • Deletion is typically completed within 30 days of a confirmed request.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained.
  • Some data may be retained for a limited period where required by law (e.g. transaction records).
  • If you subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play, cancelling your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — please manage subscriptions directly in your device settings.

In compliance with Apple App Store guidelines, Yoomento provides an in-app mechanism to initiate account deletion for all accounts created within the app. This ensures users can fully remove their data without needing to contact support.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (see Section 9).
  • Data portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Restrict processing: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Object to processing: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Manage notifications: Update push notification preferences in your device settings or within the Yoomento app.

  • Manage cookies: Control cookie preferences through your browser settings (see Section 11).
  • Withdraw consent: Where we rely on consent to process data, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know about personal information collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal data).

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Yoomento website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform and understand how it is used. Cookie categories include:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function correctly (session management, security). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our website (page views, session duration, feature usage). These may be disabled via your browser settings.

The Yoomento mobile app does not use browser cookies. Device-level identifiers may be used for analytics and crash reporting as described in Section 2.7.

You can control browser cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

Children's Privacy

Yoomento is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction — for example, 16 in certain countries under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@yoomento.com. We will promptly delete such information from our systems upon verification.

International Users

Yoomento is operated from, and your data may be processed in, the United States or other countries where Yoomento or its third-party service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your home country.

By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States or other applicable jurisdictions.

Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms as required by applicable law.
